Reverse Pricing Calculator

Most sellers pick a price, then discover their profit. Flip it: name the profit you need — per sale, or as a margin — enter your costs once, and get the price you must charge on each platform to actually hit it.

Sorted by required price — the top platform reaches your target at the lowest price, so it gives you the most room to compete. Amazon assumes the Professional plan; Etsy is US; eBay includes no sales-tax effect (add it on the eBay page); TikTok uses your own shipping cost.

Why price backwards?

Percentage fees scale with price, fixed fees don't, and some fees (Amazon's clothing tiers, Etsy's Offsite Ads) jump at thresholds. That means “cost + 40%” lands somewhere different on every platform. Solving backwards — the way this tool does, by testing prices against the full fee engine until your target is hit to the cent — is the only way the number on your listing and the number in your bank account agree.

Use it before you order inventory, not after: if the required price on your best platform is above what the market pays, the product is wrong, not the price. Change the product, the bundle, or the platform — the calculator will tell you within a dollar whether the new idea clears your floor.

Want the forward view instead? The comparison calculator takes one price and shows profit everywhere; each platform page (Amazon, Etsy, eBay, TikTok, Shopify) goes line by line.
