TikTok Shop Fee Calculator (US, 2026)

TikTok's “6%” is real — and almost never the whole story. The creator commission that drives most TikTok sales costs two to three times the referral fee. This calculator stacks both, plus delivery, ads and refund admin fees.

TikTok Shop's real fee stack

Referral fee — 6% (most categories). Charged on the order total including shipping you charge, net of discounts and excluding buyer-paid tax. Jewelry and pre-owned sit at 5%. Rates were introduced per category in 2024–2025; if your Seller Center shows a different rate for your category, type it in — the field is editable on purpose.

Creator affiliate commission — the big one. Most TikTok Shop volume runs through creators, and the commission you offer (typically 5–20%, sometimes 30%+ for launches) usually exceeds the referral fee two or three times over. Any “TikTok only takes 6%” comparison quietly assumes this is zero.

Delivery. Self-shipping means your postage label; FBT (Fulfilled by TikTok) bundles warehousing and delivery into a per-order fee that shows up as a deduction. Either way, it's real money per order — put your actual number in.

Refund administration fee. Refund an order and TikTok keeps 20% of that order's referral fee (capped at $5 per item). Small per order, but TikTok return rates in fashion-adjacent categories are not small — we model it as an expected cost from your return rate.

Co-funded promotions. Campaign discounts TikTok part-funds change your realized price rather than your fees; model them by lowering the price input.

FAQ

Why do sellers say TikTok is “cheaper than Amazon”? Because 6% < 15%. Add a 12% affiliate commission and $4.60 delivery and the same $25 product keeps less on TikTok than the headline suggests — the honest comparison is exactly what the six-platform tool on our homepage does.

What commission should I offer creators? Work backwards from this calculator: set the commission so your per-order profit still clears your floor. If a 15% commission makes the order unprofitable, no volume of creator sales fixes that — it scales the loss.
